The Ritter Mortgage Group was founded by Jon Ritter with to the goal of helping homebuyers and their realtors with financing their home purchase, while setting our loan originators apart by a level of service that is not often found in our industry. Who is Ritter Mortgage?

Ritter Mortgage Group, Inc. was founded in 2016 by Jon Ritter after 13 years as a top producer at another brokerage due to his desire to serve more people and implement his vision for a “people-first” lending model.

We are passionate about caring for clients, partners, and colleagues by creating opportunities through homeownership.

Our goal is to promote better stewardship through sound financial strategies that positively impact communities and help families build wealth through real estate.

As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult), Jon has the privilege to offer mortgage services to the Deaf in American Sign Language.

Located in the quaint town of Westminster in northern Maryland, we serve the greater Baltimore/DC area (DC, DE, MD, PA, WV, VA) as well as California, Florida, and Texas. We are committed to giving the exceptional service we believe everyone deserves.

Where do I start when it comes to Jon Ritter and his team at “ The Ritter Group” my wife and I had made what was one in a line of pushes forward in the path to owning our own home. During this most recent push we made the same mistake we had a couple times before. We thought going with a larger bank would increase our chances in getting into our dream home, however, as it happened, multiple times before, we talked to bankers who were at best superficial in their commitment to our cause.
